Weekend Guide: 08.28.2020

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for joining me over on the substack platform! Friday morning I plan on sending out this guide. This is all subject to change, but ideally I will include a playlist, some images, a book reccomendation, and maybe some writing of my own. I also have a lot of music that I plan to share here.

I am trying my best to move as far away from Instagram, Twitter and Facebook as possible. Those are some bad platforms.

I just finished Love & Theft by Stan Parish. Not only is Stan a fellow Mercer County (NJ, Central Jersey Exists) boy, he writes a mean book. Read if you like fast paced thrillers with adult themes - shooting ketamine under doctors supervision or wearing a Rolex.

I was stoned the last time I saw George Washington

We’ve been looking for him ever since 

It happened in an instant

As we drove by slow

Everyone knew it was him

He was see-through 

But

I don’t believe in ghosts

Alice Cooper played “Waterloo Sunset”

I think we all cried to ourselves 

But 

It was dark
