Weekend Guide: 09.04.2020
Greetings,
Labor day is upon us - the summer slipped away, or better yet, the summer never happened. I have pulled out a few of my favorite crewneck sweatshirts in anticipation of a crisp early morning/evening chill in the air.
*I have owned this Hanes crewneck ($12) for close to ten years. I am excited to continue to age gracefully along side it this fall.*
As a bonafide beach guy my inability to day-trip the beach even once this summer has truly shaken me to my core. Some say that absence makes the heart grow stronger. In the case of the me + the Jersey shore - I am holding out hope that my return in May 2021 will further solidify our ancient bond.
With that being said, I hope you are able to take some time this weekend to reflect on a truly sad and unique summer. Spend time with someone you love and think about the future.
Oh, and if you think someone would like these pictures, music, or even (gasp) some of my poems. Feel free to alert them to the Weekend Guide!
Some say it’s the root of all evil. Others say that without it, humanity would never have been able to progress. Either way, Money is KIND OF important. If you are at all interested in literally the one thing that makes the actual world go round, The Ascent of Money by Niall Ferguson is really where it’s at.
Here is a little something that I wrote. Next week I plan on including a song for you! Let me know if you think that is a good idea :)
